Child Logistics was founded in 2008 by Holly Wren in response to a growing need within her trucking company, Child Truck Line. With nearly a decade of experience in transportation, Holly recognized the ongoing demand for freight shipping beyond Oregon and Washington. She shifted her focus from nationwide trucking to expanding logistics solutions in the Pacific Northwest. Over the next five years, the brokerage grew to three brokers with a strong network across all 48 states.

As the brokerage expanded, a new challenge emerged—bridging the gap between trucking and warehousing in the Pacific Northwest. In 2013, James Carroll, a newly appointed dispatcher, identified this need, leading to the launch of Child Logistics’ warehouse division. Initially spanning 30,000 square feet, the facility quickly expanded to 80,000 square feet within just two months.

Driven by James’ vision of an all-inclusive logistics hub, Child Logistics introduced a repack division, allowing the company to serve a broader customer base by offering storage, distribution, and packaging solutions.

In 2021, James and Michelle Carroll acquired Child Logistics, further advancing its growth and cementing its reputation as an industry leader. Today, the company boasts nearly 400,000 square feet of warehousing, dedicated to storage, distribution, and repackaging services. Since the acquisition, we have continued to expand our value-added services, ensuring that every customer can find a tailored solution to fit their needs.
